Andrei Lionachescu is a Romanian-British cinematographer who has been living, studying and working in the UK for the past decade. He holds an undergraduate degree in art history and film studies from Sussex University and a Masters in cinematography from the Met Film School. He started working in the industry in 2017 as a camera assistant on short form shoots, from music videos to ads and short films. He now works as a freelance cinematographer and camera operator on a variety of projects, mainly focusing on advertising, but also extending to live streaming, documentary and short film work. His portfolio of clients is varied and includes organisations such as the British Council, Ebay, M&S, the Institution of Civil Engineers, Islamic Relief and TKMaxx. Andrei is always trying to push himself technically and creatively and is ready to take on challenging work, whether in terms of logistics, budget, or creative vision.
